When you think Easter holidays, you probably imagine egg hunts and hot cross buns. But in fact, a lot of Aussies start those DIY projects that they’d been putting off.

Trouble is, when people roll into their local hardware store for paint, they’re face with the daunting task of choosing a colour. What should you pick? And when you do choose, how do you know you’ve got the right shade?

Dulux have Australia and NZ’s Most Loved Colours as part of the popular Wash n’ Wear range. This was the perfect opportunity to get DIY’ers falling in love with Dulux at Easter.

Challenge

Removing hesitation was essential. Less overwhelmed. And more overjoyed. People needed to feel confident that for whatever look they wanted, Dulux had the Most Loved Colour to match.

From planning to project completion, we needed to be there for the Easter holiday painters, guiding them into the store and straight to Dulux.

Solution

Love was in the air, with a campaign that put Dulux Most Loved Colours into the hearts and hands of more DIY’ers.

With more people wanting just the right shade of white, we focussed on the three most popular whites. So whether they wanted a bright space or a feeling of natural calm, we made the choice easy.

Thanks to our seamless suite of outdoor, POS, help and advice collateral, digital assets and staff training guides, we helped turn Easter into DIY season. And importantly, more people now know that the best colour for their home, is where the heart is.
